Let's face it, customer data, in all its forms and permutations is the life blood of any company. Without current, complete, and accurate customer data, companies are flying blind. Analysis is suspect, campaigns are poorly targeted, and marketing and sales are constantly at odds. For B2B companies in particular, data issues often dominate marketing thinking. We will focus on the challenges, processes, and technologies for implementing a best practice approach to marketing, for those companies that sell to other companies (B2B), and for businesses that sell through other businesses to consumers (what is commonly called B2B2C companies.) We will also look at some case studies of Extraprise customers that illustrate some of these key challenges and best practices. In this first podcast in the series, we will take a brief look at several investment areas for B2B marketers and then analyze each of these areas in greater detail in upcoming presentations.
